Born during the March quarter 1913 in the Bury
R.D. - ref: 8c/1021, the daughter of Walter and
Hannah Holt (nee) Hoyle.

H.E. Bombs fell on both the Manchester Royal
Infirmary and on the south wing of the Manchester
Royal Eye Hospital.  Two staff were killed at the
Eye Hospital - Nurse Holt & Dr. Helen Beatrice
Grinyer.  Hospital beds were endowed in memory of
them.

CWGC - S.R.N. Daughter of Walter and Hannah Holt,
of 13 Clifton Street, Bury. Died at Royal Eye
Hospital.
