Le Moors, Lancashire.   He was a 26 year old
Printer's Compositer.

1911 Census - No Trace of Edith nor her husband.

1939 National Registration - 30 Melville Road,
Stretford.    John C. Woodhead - Married - born:
17th November 1873 - occ: Corporation Printer.  
Edith Woodhead - Married - born: 29th January 1881
- occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties. 

CWD Report No. 100.   Died as a result of blast &
splinters at 30 Melville Road, Stretford, from
where her body was recovered at 15.20 hrs on the
24th December 1940 and taken to the Church Street
Mortuary, Stretford.    Her body was identified by
her brother- William Ward and released for burial
to Thomas Higham, 138 Barton Road, Stretford.

Death registered in Stretford Borough.   Buried on
04/01/1941.
