1915 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/137 and they
resided at 57 Milton Road, Gorse Hill, Stretford.

Stretford.   Mary Tomkinson - Married - born: 18th
March 1893 - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties.   Walter
Tomkinson - Single - born: 26th May 1919 - occ:
Tea Delivery Clerk.   May Tomkinson - Single -
born: 4th September 1920 - occ: Grocery Packer.  
Mary's husband is not at this address on that
date.

CWD Report No. 59.   Died as a result of blast at
57 Milton Road, Stretford, from where her body was
recovered at 01.00 hrs on the 24th December 1940
and taken to the City Road Mortuary, Old Trafford.
   Her body was identified by her son George W.
Tomkinson, No. 948070 Royal Artillery and released
for burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor
- R. Pepperdine, 31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford.  
Described as being 5 feet 1 inches in height, of
Full Build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Her husband - Walter Tomkinson was also killed in
this incident.

Resided at No. 7 Milton Rd according to the
Stretford Memorial Book???

Buried 31/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,906.   Unmarked
Grave.
