his body was recovered at 13.15 hrs on the 24th
December 1940 and taken to the Church Street
Mortuary, Stretford.    His body was identified by
his brother-in-law - J.V. Bromley (sic) and
released for burial to the Council's Untertaker
Contractor - R. Pepperdine, 31 Ayres Road, Old
Trafford.   Employed as a Cable Works Operator.

Buried 27/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,860.
