CWGC - A.R.P. Ambulance Driver. Son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arnold, of 8 Boardman Street,
Barton Lane; husband of Elizabeth Ann Arnold, of
20 Boardman Street. Died at 94 Gilda Brook Road.

94 Gilda Road, Eccles was a First Aid Post and a
total of sixteen people were killed in this
incident.  Eleven at No.94 and five members of the
Thompson family next door at No.96.  1 Air Raid
Warden, 1 ARP Ambulance Driver, 7 civilians and 7
First Aid personnel.

Mi.I. St. Catherine's.  Treasured memories of
William Ransome the beloved husband of Elizabeth
Ann ARNOLD, died 22nd December 1940, aged: 42
years.  In the midst of life, we are in death.
