Born on the 6th February 1905, the birth being
registered during the March quarter 1905 in the
Mansfield R.D., the daughter of Edward & Mary Jane
Richardson (nee Nice).

1911 Census - 37 High Street, Warsop,
Nottinghamshire.    Daughter - aged: 6 - born:
Warsop.    Head of household - Edward Richardson -
Married - aged: 33 -  occ: Miller -
born:Breadsall, Derbyshire.   Also - Mary Jane
Richardson - Wife - aged: 36 - born: Norwell
Nottinghamshire.   Plus 2 younger brothers.

1939 National Registration - "Weathercote",
Bentinck Road, Altrincham.  The home of two
spinster ladies - Kate & Elsie Higgins, born in
1884 & 1888 respectively.    Daisy Richardson -
Single - born: 6th February 1905 - occ: Cook.  
Presume she was 'in service' at this house.  There
was also a Margaret Richardson - Born on the 4th
January 1931 - occ: At School.   In addition Molly
Oulton - Born on the 5th November 1909 - occ:
Parlour Maid.

Her CWD Ref No. 13, states that she was found at
21.10 hrs at the Bulls Head Hotel, Wicker Lane,
Hale Barns, Cheshire.   She had been seriously
injured by bomb splinters and fallen trees and
taken to Altrincham General Hospital where she
died at 21.27 hrs.   Her body was identified by
her father, Edward Richardson, 33 Clarence Rd,
Warsop, Nottinghamshire.    She was buried on the
16th January in the Warsop (Manton Cemetery)
Retford Road, Warsop.

The mention of bomb splinters and fallen trees,
rather indicates that she was killed outside the
Public House.

CWGC - Daughter of Edward and Mary Jane
Richardson, of 33 Clarence Road, Warsop,
Nottinghamshire. Died at General Hospital,
Altrincham.

Her 8 year old daughter eventually married a David
J. Byrne in 1972.in the Stafford area.
