Baldy (Blake).

Married Evelyn Annie Brown during the March
quarter 1932 in the Ashbourne R.D. - ref:
7b/1425.

Square, Salford.   James H. Baldy - Married - Born
on the 3rd May 1911 - occ: City Police & Fireman.

His wife was residing with her parents - George &
Ellen E. Brown at 57 Belper Road, Ashbourne,
Derbyshire.   Evelyn A. Baldy - Married - Born on
the 14th October 1910 - occ: Unpaid Domestic
Servant.  There is on redacted record at this
address.  This was probably their son - Anthony J.
Baldy - born in 1932.

Commemorated on the Manchester City FB Memorial.

A full time Fireman - a "Policeman" by virtue that
all Manchester FB men were sworn in as such.

Injured in the early hours of the 23rd and died 36
hours later - which makes it that he died on the
24th, not the 23rd.

CWGC - Police Fireman; of 10 Fire Station Square.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Baldy, of 31 Belper Road,
Ashbourne, Derbyshire; husband of Evelyn Annie
Baldy. Injured at Blackfriars Street; died same
day at Salford Royal Hospital.
