Born on the 27th July 1921, the birth being
registered during the September quarter 1921 in
the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1218, the son of James
& Margaret Bosworth (nee Kelsall).

The family all resided at 27 Gorse Crescent, Gorse
Hill, Stretford.

March 1887 - occ: Centre Lathe Turner.  Margaret
Bosworth - Married - born: 25th October 1892 -
occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties.   Frank Bosworth -
Single - born: 27th July 1921 - occ: Apprentice
Fitter Electrical Heating and P.W.C. 456 (Police
War Constable).

Employed as a Fitter, he was acting as an A.F.S.
Fireman, when he was killed at Barlow Moor Road,
Chorlton cum Hardy, Manchester.

Manchester Evening News dated the 3rd May 1941 -
"A party of Fire Watchers were flung to the ground
when a heavy bomb demolished two semi-detached
houses and a shelter wall near to where they were
standing.   Frank Bosworth was killed instantly
and Richard Roocroft died in hospital.   The
occupants of the houses were in the shelter and
escaped injury.   In a nearby road two large
houses were demolished by a direct hit, but there
were no casualties".

Death registered during the June quarter 1941 in
the Manchester R.D. - ref: 8d/44 - aged: 19.

Buried 08/05/1941 - Burial No. 18,139.
