where she was killed on the 7th October 1940.

debris at her home - 395 Stretford Road,
Stretford, from where her body was recovered on
the 8th October 1940 and taken to the Church
Street Mortuary, Stretford where it was identified
by her hsband - Sydney Bland to whom it was
released for burial.   She was described as being
"5 feet 2 inches in height, sturdy, with blue
eyes".      Buried 12/10/1940 - Burial No.
17,761.
