who was also killed in this incident.

Married Joseph Henry Whaites during the June
quarter 1901 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1432.

During WW1, Joseph was a Private in the 1st
Battalion, Manchester Regiment No. 5321 and was
killed in action on the 26th April 1915, aged: 35.
His CWGC record states - Son of James and Martha
Hannah Whaites; husband of Mary Elizabeth Whaites,
of 10 Aspden Street, Hulme, Manchester.

Hulme, Manchester.  Mary Elizabeth Whaites Married
- born on the 12th February 1881 - occ: Unpaid
Domestic Duties.   There is one redacted record at
this address, which is probably her nephew - Derek
W. Price, aged: 2.

Mary's daughter - Mary Elizabeth Andrew and three
of her four grandchildren - Cyril F. Andrew, Irene
Andrew and John Robert Percy Andrew were also
killed in this incident.  Her nephew (her sister's
son) - Derek W. Price was also killed in this
incident.

CWGC - of 10 Aspden Street, Hulme. Widow of Joseph
Henry Whaites. Died at 47 Peel Street.
