Playing Fields, Central Avenue, Crumpsall on the
12th June 1943 and taken to the Crumpsall Hospital
where he died the following day.

He was buried in the family grave in the
Manchester (Phillips) Cemetery on the 24th July
1943.   His father-in-law and both his parents
were buried in that grave.

His widow continued to reside at  22 Upper Mount
Street, Harpurhey, Manchester.
