Stretford, from where his body was recovered on
the 24th December 1940 and taken to the City Road
Mortuary, Old Trafford.    His body was identified
by his widow - E. Wheeldon and released to the
Manchester & Salford Co-op Funeral Department,
Downing Street, Manchester.  Described as being 5
feet 6 inches in height, of slight build, with
iron grey hair.   Employed as a Labourer.

Death registered in Stretford Borough.    Buried
on 02/01/1941.
