Stretford, from where her body was recovered at
10.00 hrs on the 24th December 1940 and taken to
the City Road Mortuary, Old Trafford.     Her body
was identified by her brother - Kenneth Norton,
195 Winchester Road, Urmston and released for
burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor - R.
Pepperdine, 31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford.    
Described as being 5 feet 3 inches in height, with
brown hair.   Employed as a Clerk.

Buried 30/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,874.

Irene's parents and sister Joyce, were also killed
in this incident.

Kenneth Norton was the eldest brother - born in
1909.
