home on leave at the time of this incident.
One of nine persons killed in a domestic shelter
at No. 1 Moorfield Street, Withington. All
buried in two graves - Nos. 856 and 858 in Section
N - NC. These included four members of the
Harrison Family, three members of the Tudor
Family, Marjorie Wattleworth (buried as Marjorie
Wodseworth) and Able Seaman George Edward Abbott.
George's CWGC Headstone is the only commemoration
on this grave. Also buried in it are Mary Jane &
Pamela Harrison. |
