of Thomas Smith & Betty H. Punch (nee Garside).

1939 National Registration - 86 Gill Bent Road,
Cheadle, Cheshire.   Betty H. Punch - Married -
born on the 6th May 1913 - occ: Unpaid Domestic
Duties.   Althea M. Punch - born on the 10th
October 1938.

No trace of her father Thomas Smith Punch in 1939.
 Only record is his death during the March quarter
1976 in the Congleton & Crewe R.D. - ref: 35/587 -
aged: 82 (he was born on the 23rd June 1894).

CWGC - of 35 Albert Road, Whalley Range. Daughter
of T. Punch, and of Mrs. B. H. Punch. Died at 35
Albert Road.

Death registered during the March quarter 1941 in
the Manchester R.D. - ref: 8d/32 - aged: 2.

Relative - Donald Punch informs me that the family
actually resided at ALNESS Road, Whalley Range NOT
Albert Road as stated by the CWGC.    However, it
appears that Albert Road, Whalley Range was
renamed Alness Road sometime after WW2, which it
is to this day.
